Apply the estriol cream to areas with thinner skin, such as the inner arms, back of the neck, chest, palms, or soles of the feet. Rotate application sites to optimize absorption. For best results, consult your healthcare provider to determine the appropriate dosage based on your specific needs.

There are approximately 75 to 85 pumps per bottle. One pump is approximately one application of 1/4 teas (about the size of a dime). Apply to the forearm daily or for vaginal dryness see application below.

For vaginal dryness:
1/4 tsp (about the size of a dime), of 2.5 mg in strength, applied with a vaginal applicator once per day, morning or evening. Dryness is normally relieved in 10 to 14 days.

Once the dryness is relieved you can use the cream as-needed, perhaps every two to four weeks. Another option to prevent dryness from recurring is to apply the cream once a day on a daily basis to the inner forearm.

For Fingertip Application:
Step-by-step:
-Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Dispense the cream:
-Squeeze a small amount of Estriol cream onto your index finger. A “fingertip unit” usually means the amount from the tip of your finger to the first crease (knuckle). Your doctor should tell you how much — often it’s about 0.5g to 1g (but double-check your prescription).

Get comfortable:
-Lie down on your back with knees bent, or stand with one leg raised (on a chair, for example).

Apply inside the vagina:
-Gently insert your cream-coated fingertip into your vagina about 1 to 2 inches deep (roughly one finger length).
-Smoothly and slowly spread the cream around the vaginal walls as you withdraw your finger.

Apply externally too (if instructed):
Some doctors also recommend lightly applying a small amount to the vulva (the outer area) if there’s dryness or irritation there.
-Wash your hands again after applying.

1 capsule in the AM or as recommended by your health care professional
