Platt Pro 5% bio identical Progesterone cream has been a miracle for me. I just turned 50 years old and I'm in perimenopause. I had a period that didn't stop for two months straight with extremely heavy bleeding. I became very anemic almost needing a blood transfusion. Had ultrasound and biopsy done at gyne - everything checked out fine but doctor couldn't stop bleeding. Next step from doctor would be to prescribe synthetic hormone pills and a procedure to cauterize my uterus to stop bleeding. I wasn't ok with that. In the meantime I found Dr. Platt's website and read all his blog articles which made total sense to me. I had obviously been suffering from high estrogen and low progesterone for the past 10 years (hence the heavy/long periods and thickened endometrium).
