Over the years I have treated many patients with ADHD. You may be aware that I have a different take on this condition, which I feel has been largely misunderstood by the medical community. Every system in the body, at any age, is controlled by hormones. Accordingly, at any age, hormones can be out of balance and this factor can give rise to certain symptoms, or,moreseriously, certain conditions. In spite of their importance to our health, doctors receive relatively little information about hormones during their training.
